The holidays can be full of warmth and joy — and they can also be busy, emotional, and overwhelming. This December, the Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba (MDAM) is inviting our community to slow down, breathe, and share the small rituals that help us feel grounded.

This holiday season individuals will have 12 chances to enter to win a beautiful, weighted blanket from Silk & Snow. Made of the finest materials, this chunky knit blanket is as fabulous as it is functional. One winner will be drawn each day during the contest period.

Weighted blankets can provide multiple benefits, including stress-reduction, anxiety relief, and a deeper sleep. It feels like a warm holiday hug from a loved one.

Whether your version of calm is a walk in the snow, a quiet cup of tea, a good book, or simply taking a moment to pause — we want to hear what helps you.

What You Can Win

• a weighted blanket (12 blankets will be given away in total)
• 1 winner per day
• 1 winner per family (no repeat winners throughout the contest)
• Prizes have no cash value and must be accepted as awarded.
• Prizes must be picked up from our Winnipeg office located at 100-4 Fort Street OR our Brandon office located at 1003 13^th Street Unit B.

Entering is easy — no purchase required.

2. Comment on the daily giveaway post on our Facebook or Instagram during December 1–12, answering the daily prompt in the post.

Each comment on a daily post counts as an entry for that day’s draw — so feel free to join us more than once to increase your odds of winning!

Winner Selection + Announcements

• Winners are selected by random draw daily from eligible entries. We will do our best to announce the winners by 5:00 pm each day.
• Winners will be contacted via direct message (DM) from MDAM’s official account only.
• Winners must respond within 5 business days, or a new winner will be selected.
• Winners will be announced on our Facebook/Instagram accounts.
