2025 Holiday Message from the Board Chair

As we reach the end of another meaningful year, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to our entire MDAM community especially our members, volunteers, staff, board, partners, and supporters. Your dedication, compassion, and courage continue to inspire everything we do. Each of you plays an essential role in helping Manitobans feel seen, supported, and understood.

The holiday season can bring joy, togetherness, and celebration but it can also be a challenging time for many. If this season feels heavy or complicated, please know that there is space for you here. You matter, your feelings matter, and you are never alone. Our doors remain open, and our commitment to care is unwavering.

This year brought growth, new collaborations, and renewed purpose for MDAM. From expanding peer support programs to strengthening community outreach and awareness, we witnessed firsthand the power of connection and the resilience of individuals across our province.

As we look ahead to a new year, we are filled with hope and excitement for new beginnings. We will continue working tirelessly to increase accessibility, amplify lived experiences, and bring innovative mental health initiatives to communities across Manitoba. Together, we will build a future where mental wellness is supported, stigma is reduced, and every Manitoban has access to the help they need.

Thank you for believing in this mission, and for standing with us through challenges, through change, and into brighter days.

Wishing you and your loved ones peace, warmth, and renewal this holiday season, and a hopeful, healthy start to the New Year.

Warmest regards,
Dr. Anju Bajaj
