MDAM + MHERC Self-Help Book Club

The Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba along with Peer Connections Manitoba and the MHERC Library, are pleased to announce they have partnered to offer a Self-Help Book Club. In total, the book club has read several books together so far, namely: Atomic Habits, Atlas of the Heart, Essentialism, and Keeping Finance Personal.

The next book club will focus on Nicole Vignola’s book, “Rewire: Your Neurotoolkit for Everyday Life.”

Nicole Vignola is more than a neuroscientist; she’s an established keynote speaker and author. Reaching millions through her well-established platform, Nicole offers practical tools and scientifically proven methods to enhance mental well-being.

Recognised as “Instagram’s favourite brain expert” by Woman’s Health Magazine, it’s her mission to demystify neuroscience, making it accessible and impactful for everyone.

With a BSc in Neuroscience and an MSc in Organisational Psychology, her commitment to empowering people with an understanding of how their brain works has made her a pioneering force in redefining wellness. Nicole’s debut book, “Rewire,” offers a transformative neuro-toolkit. With practical strategies to optimise your life, rewire your brain and break free from limiting habits and behaviours. “Rewire” is your guide toward personal growth and fulfilment.

This book club will begin on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 and will meet for five to six consecutive weeks from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the MHERC Library, located in the MDAM office at 100 – 4 Fort Street.

THIS SESSION IS NOW FULL. THANK YOU!

We are pleased to announce there is no fee associated with this book club, thanks to funding secured by Peer Connections Manitoba.
