Benzodiazepines, commonly referred to as ‘benzos, sleeping pills, nerve pills, tranquilisers or anxiety medicine’ have been popularly used for anxiety and sleep problems since the 1960’s. But are we using them properly? Join pharmacist Jaden Brandt, as he discusses his observations of these medications in pharmacy practice, research regarding their use in the Manitoba population and engagement on benzodiazepines beyond Canada.
